W ramach projektu polscy i norwescy eksperci opracowali modele procedur telemedycznych w sześciu obszarach: kardiologii, geriatrii, psychiatrii, położnictwa, diabetologii i chorób przewlekłych.

On April 25-26, 2024, there will be a conference organized by the Ministry of Health, who performs the function of an Operator and a Beneficiary of the pre-defined projects carried out as part of the “Health” Program financed through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014–2021 and from the state budget.
The aim of the conference is to raise awareness of the implemented activities under the "Health" Programme, including two pre-defined projects: Tackling social inequalities in health with the use of e-health and telemedicine solutions and A healthy lifestyle for children and the youth . Together with the project beneficiaries, we will discuss the effects and exchange experience with partners from Norway.
The predefined project Tackling social inequalities in health with the use of e-health and telemedicine solutions was an innovative project that aimed to improve the availability and quality of health care for all social groups. As part of the project, Polish and Norwegian experts developed models of telemedicine procedures in six areas: cardiology, geriatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics, diabetes and chronic diseases. The developed solutions were tested as part of pilot projects in selected facilities throughout the country.
The predefined project A healthy lifestyle for children and the youth was aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among the youngest and increasing society's awareness of the impact of various factors on the health of children and adolescents.
The first module of the project concerned diet and physical activity - how healthy eating and regular physical activity are extremely important for the growth and proper development of children. The second module was education on the harmful effects of tobacco use. Mental health was the third module of this project - it focused on the prevention of these diseases by increasing access to psychological help for children and public awareness of the importance of mental health.
During the conference, various issues will be discussed: from experience gained during the implementation of projects aimed at reducing social inequalities in health, through the implementation of activities related to telemedicine and e-health, to topics related to a healthy lifestyle for children and adolescents. We will also talk about shaping pro-health attitudes, which should start already in childhood.
The conference is primarily addressed to the decision-makers in the area of health at the central, regional, and local level in Poland, the representatives of non-governmental organizations and other institutions active in the area of health prophylaxis, the representatives of local government agencies, the representatives of the Donors, the Norwegian Partners in predefined projects, and Polish research specialists, academics, and health care professionals.
